CMEC Annual Dinner
Despite the flood many people made it to the annual dinner. We enjoyed a delicious meal and received the $11.00 bill credit. Kevin and Annie were the Eadie representatives.
No bucket rides or truck demonstrations this year since all the crew & equipment were working getting all the power back on.

130 Embarrass Bridge
Too much water under the bridge.
I just figured out how the Embarrass River got it's name......because it couldn't keep its bottom dry.

Chicken Rustlers
Mother and I hauled chickens in the car truck this morning. Peep peep all the way home. Thanks to Jim for building me a chicken coop and the Eadies for raising my half of the brood. So far they seem to be adjusting to their new home. Oh I forgot to thank Amy it was her idea to get some chickens and she would help take care of them....that was before she moved to TN.

Fawn in hiding
This little fawn spent the day hidden in our yard. We watched from a distance and the mother doe was probably was watching us from a distance. If you ever find a fawn lying curled up in the grass & wildflowers it probably isn't abandoned by its mother. "What you see in nature stays in nature." I was excited to get a picture!

Aunt Madge & Aunt Frances
Photography must be in the genes. I wonder what they would think of digital prints and camera phones? I remember when Aunt Madge would hand paint pictures and develop film in the dark room.
