Mother's favorite place to be her classroom.
Photo taken the spring of 1968 at the Dedication of Lake Crest School. August 19 she will celebrate her 87th birthday! We love you! Trivia how many years did she teach school? Answer to question: Mother retired in 1978 after 22 years of teaching. She taught at Boneset, Mullen, Bunker Hill all Coles County country schools and Arcola High School, Vance Elementary, Hindsboro Grade School and Lake Crest Grade School. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
