Nature's Paintbrush
Saw this rainbow about 7:00 p.m. this evening. It stretched over Walmart. Didn't last long but was very pretty, good thing Jim was driving I might have caused a traffic problem taking pictures.

Trace Adkins

John & Kate's Garden
Everyone has a green thumb this year and their own unique way of making their gardens. Patty, I will be visiting your garden soon and to visit Alison's garden follow her link on my blog. John & Kate have some beautiful flower gardens too. Too many pictures for one day!
Outside Yurt
This year they are going to plant rye around the outside of the yurt. They have wood chip paths to walk on.

This is the upper level, very bright and cheerful. Josh made this railing for the staircase. Gloria and Josh have a very nice home, I enjoyed my visit.

Josh gave me a tour of the yurt, very cozy. Many changes since I was last there, he is busy working with his plants.

Last week was National Library Week. Check out Hollene and Francine's blogs they both have new pictures of their adorable children. Congradualtions Chris and J they brought a new house last week! Hope she updates her page soon. Amy is coming home tonight, she misses her mother......no she needs her summer clothes. Hope everyone is enjoying this nice weather.

Illinois Library Advocacy Day 2005
Alison joined other librarians from the Lincoln Trails Library System in Springfield today. They meet with lawmakers, asking for support of library issues and funding.
