Grace has company!
We all stopped by to wish Grace a happy delivery! If Marcy and I start dressing alike we could pass for twins!
Kaylee & Grandma
Today Kathy is moving into the house she grew up in. Marcy has been busy getting remodeling done. The roof should be done tomorrow and Jim installed a new hot water heater today. Grandma and Kaylee enjoyed the nice breeze and read a good book while Marcy supervised all the work!

Answer to question: Mother retired in 1978 after 22 years of teaching. She taught at Boneset, Mullen, Bunker Hill all Coles County country schools and Arcola High School, Vance Elementary, Hindsboro Grade School and Lake Crest Grade School. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

Small Town U.S.A. Festival
Alison's library entry won First place! $20.00 cash prize. Her famous boat floated down Main St. with J.C. driving the truck full of Summer Reading Program kids. Alison dressed up like a pirate with a parriot on her shoulder. Passing out popsicles she was a big hit. Share a Treasure with Captain Book was the theme. I missed the parade but sent my camera crew.
