Our Old House
Does anyone have any memories from this old house? I remember a pig getting in the back porch and Grandma D. chased it out with the broom. Marcy had her own room, Patty and I shared half a room with John. No telephone until I was in high school. No central air or heat. In the summer we sat in front of the fan and in the winter we sat in front of the gas stove.

Teachers
Mother was back in her 5th grade classroom today. She had lunch with the teachers at Lake Crest Elementary and other retired teachers. Some of her former students now teach there.

Amish Home
We had a delicious meal served in the Yoder's home. Respectfully I didn't take any pictures inside but we enjoyed the family style meal and tour of their home. The event was sponsored by Alison's church group. Thanks Alison, we always have a good time together.

Amy comes home!
Amy came home last Thursday, Saturday she is moving back to Normal. Short stay here at home! Unlike last summer in California, she will have electricity and wont have to sleep outside. Have a great summer Amy, don't forget to call your mom.

Guess the baby?
Can't believe it is May, time for another guess the baby picture. My faithful blog watchers can't be stumped!
Arsenic & Old Lace
Alison and I went to the K.H.S. Performance of Arsenic and Old Lace. All the kids did a great job and we enjoyed the show. The moral of the story if two sweet Aunts offer you Elderberry wine don't drink it, you could end up buried in the Panama Canal/basement. You don't have to go to far from home for good entertainment.
