Alison's library entry won First place! $20.00 cash prize. Her famous boat floated down Main St. with J.C. driving the truck full of Summer Reading Program kids. Alison dressed up like a pirate with a parriot on her shoulder. Passing out popsicles she was a big hit. Share a Treasure with Captain Book was the theme. I missed the parade but sent my camera crew.
