We are always happy to see J.C. and Alison, but yesterday when they brought us fresh strawberries we we overjoyed!

On my quest for barn pictures, spotted this special cow. Never had the opportunity to visit the U of I Veterinary School open house, but have heard the stories of others putting their hand in a cow's stomach.

Actually May 3 was Mothers second wedding day.

During the 1920's "Tom Thumb" weddings were very popular. At these events you would see a mock wedding with children dressed in formal attire. The Tom Thumb wedding was fashioned after the famous midget couple in the P.T. Barnum Circus,Tom Thumb and Lavinia Warren, who were married in 1863.
