What did Grandad do with the bees?

Granddad provided the bees a new home in the white hive box, where is could easily collect the honey. When a hive gets over populated they swarm making a new colony, but they have to have a queen bee to survive. Holli was a beekeeper too, so she might have a comment to make about bees.

Yes, I was a beekeeper! I don't really have anything to add to the info you passed on about the swarm, though. Good job. I enjoyed beekeeping, and especially having a hobby I could share with Grandad. I've been stung many times by honeybees, but last week, I got my first yellow jacket sting. It was SO much worse!

Do you like my display picture? I'm quite proud of it, and use it often!

Oh, yeah, I meant to tell you in my comment that I updated my blog this morning. Nothing of the girls, really, but photos of the Cougles' house in Louisiana.
